STANDARDISED PRICE LIST

(REQUIRED BY LAW)

The Competition and Markets Authority launched an investigation into the funeral industry in 2018, partly due to a lack of price transparency when packages were being sold (a large part of the funeral sector is corporate-owned), which made it difficult for a family to compare prices or to know what was included.

One outcome of this investigation is that every funeral director now has to provide a standardised price list for an attended funeral, set to a specific format set by the CMA, published as a downloadable PDF.

The standardised price list format is for a traditional style of attended funeral so the prices we show are for a traditional hearse, oak veneer coffin and chapel of rest visit.

Our Personalised and Attended Pre-10am funeral prices listed above meet the needs of families looking for a simpler or more modern funeral, options are all transparently itemised and priced.
