Some fees are essential, others are optional, so the total cost will depend on the choices you make. STANDARDISED PRICE LIST
(required by law)
The Competition and Markets Authority launched an investigation into the funeral industry in 2018, partly due to a lack of price transparency when packages were being sold (a large part of the funeral sector is corporate-owned), which made it difficult for a family to compare prices or to know what was included.
One outcome of this investigation is that every funeral director now has to provide a standardised price list for an attended funeral, set to a specific format set by the CMA, published as a downloadable PDF.
The standardised price list format is for a traditional style of attended funeral so the prices we show are for a traditional hearse, oak veneer coffin and chapel of rest visit.
Our Personalised and No Fuss funeral prices listed above meet the needs of families looking for a simpler or more modern funeral, options are all transparently itemised and priced.
