Directions:
Pembroke Lodge is a beautiful, scenic venue, inside Richmond Park, close to the Richmond gate entrance. Both the service and reception will be held here.
Enter Richmond Park via the Richmond Gate entrance and turn right. Continue straight along the main road (Queen’s Road) for approximately one mile, you will then see Pembroke Lodge on the right hand side.
The Belvedere is on the ground floor of the Georgian Wing, which is to the right of the main building. It has a separate entrance accessed from the right hand side of the building, however you can also enter the main building and then turn right, walking past the café and on to The Belvedere.
Step free access: Please note that there are steps leading down to the side entrance into The Belvedere, step free access is available via the main entrance and turn right to continue into The Belvedere.
Public transport:
Train / Tube: Both SW trains and the District Line go to Richmond Station.
From Richmond Station: Taxis are available directly outside the station — it’s a 10-minute drive to Pembroke Lodge via the Richmond Gate entrance of Richmond Park. Just tell the driver you’re going to Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park.
Bus Option: You can also take the bus number 371 from Richmond Station towards Kingston. Alight at the American University stop on Queens Road, which is the closest stop to Richmond Gate. From there, it’s a pleasant 15-minute walk through the park to the venue.
Parking:
Parking is free in the main public car park.
Please note that Google maps may direct you to turn off the main road into Pembroke Lodge too soon (via a staff side access route) – but you will also see the ‘No entry unless authorised’ signs, so do not turn off here, simply continue along the main road a little further and you will see the entrance to the main public car park clearly signposted on the right hand side.
